Program Requirements and Eligibility

1. A recommended minimum YORK® purchase requirement of 70% or more.
2. Advertising, stocking, or promoting of competitive equipment must not be greater than YORK.
3. Offer Comfort Guarantee on all add-on-replacement (AOR) installations (includes 100% Satisfaction Guarantee and First- Year Unit Replacement).
4. Possess a company website.
5. Have YORK brand representation on their website, equal to or greater than competitive brands.
6. Maintain a healthy online reputation for their company. A minimum of 20 Google reviews with an average of 4.0 stars is required to enroll in the program.
7. Display Certified Comfort Expert (CCE) logo on all service vehicles.
8. Display Certified Comfort Expert logo on all consumer-facing materials.
9. Attend product specific training as new products are introduced.
10. YORK reserves the right to audit all CCE activities at its discretion.
11. Contractors must agree to follow YORK required business practices including:
    1. Carry a Business Owners Policy to cover major property and liability exposures as well as a loss of income if your business cannot operate for a period of one (1) year $1 million minimum coverage is required. Contractor must have Johnson Controls Inc., YORK®, its distributor and affiliates named as an additional insured on their liability policy.
    2. Carry Workers Compensation Insurance in an amount and in a manner as required by the laws of the state or states in which contractor operates its business.
    3. Carry Commercial Automobile Insurance coverage for all company-owned vehicles used to operate its business, as required by the laws of the state.
    4. Have EPA certification and proper licenses for HVAC practice in the appropriate state and county.
    5. Equipment must be installed per YORK's standard installation instructions and procedures.
    6. Contractor account must be in good standing with distributor or YORK Factory Direct branch.
    7. Observe YORK Service policies and use YORK specified parts when available. Maintain an adequate parts inventory for prompt and efficient service.
    8. YORK equipment must be covered by only YORK extended warranties and not by third- party warranties.
    9. Participate in YORK promotions available through distributor to leverage brand awareness and equity to customers in their specific market areas.
    10. Do not perform business activities or conduct business in a manner that would harm the reputation of Johnson Controls, YORK, and/or their distributors and affiliates.
